It’s time I started thinking short-term

Now that I have been back in the Philippines for a few days, and have had time to decompress from that nightmare of a layover-filled trip, I’ve had time to reflect and start making plans for the next year.

While I was gone, I realized I have a lot of projects that won’t pay off for maybe a year or more, and my financial situation this such that I need some extra money coming in right now.

It will take a while for Cringeworthy on YouTube monetization to put any kind of money in my pocket, and this newsletter is the same. I am growing in paid subscribers, but the going is slow (please consider becoming a paid member!) Medium has all but died on the vine, as they have changed and my writing has not. Where my writing did well in the past, it has not made any traction of late and I have all but abandoned the platform.
