First off, I am not Jewish or Palestinian, so maybe I shouldn’t be saying anything. Already today, I have seen good people being canceled because they have an opinion on the matter that is not in favor of the Jewish people. I am in danger of being canceled myself if I am not careful.

You could call me “woke”, at least I have been trying to stretch my liberal wings the past few years and have an opinion. I didn’t always because I had a problem. I tend to get into comment arguments, and because I am not the best typist, I tend to make many mistakes that I am too emotional to fix before I hit “send.” It makes me look like a moron. Even if I am the smartest adult in the room, I often look like the least educated because of my big fingers and poor typing skills. That is why I love to write. I can have a horrible first draft, but spend a while revising and making intelligent points.

I took two terms of logic in college and have been writing about politics since Trump went down that escalator and I saw the first BLM protests hit the streets. I have opinions. I am someone who used to be a gun-toting conservative until I educated myself about the world and saw that the conservative ideology boiled down to whitewashed racism. I grew tired of kids being shot up in school and the Republicans making excuses time after time. I wouldn’t call myself a Democrat, more like a leftist or socialist. Despite their flaws, I love Bernie and AOC, and I love to see Katie Porter take down the Republicans with charts and facts.
